Normec Product Testing successfully passed BAM 2021 Round Robin emission test

BAM (Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung) organized between September and November 2021 a round robin test. The objective of the round robin test (part Emission test chamber method) was the quality assurance of test chamber measurements for VOC/SVOC from construction materials using existing standards (ISO 16000-6, ISO 16000-9, EN 16516).

Reference test samples were spiked VOC mixtures into a waterbased lacquer (lacquer based reference samples containing a mixture of VOCs and SVOCs). Emission measurements were conducted seven days after test chamber loading. The assessment of laboratory results by BAM was based on z-scores.
